IMC Van Driver / Mail CourierThe IMC Driver is responsible for operating the IMC service van to deliver instructional materials to school locations throughout the seven-county service area. This position supports participating districts by ensuring timely, accurate, and professional delivery and handling of materials.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Operate the IMC service van to transport instructional materials to and from school locations within the seven-county service areaCoordinate with the IMC Clerk to support delivery schedules and material distribution needsLoad, transport, and unload materials in a safe and efficient mannerMaintain positive, professional communication with school staff and IMC personnelFollow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and organizational policies while operating the vehiclePhysical Requirements:Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 poundsAbility to bend, stoop, reach, and maneuver bulky or heavy items independentlyAbility to load and unload materials into and out of the van and school buildings, with or without the use of a hand truckAbility to perform these essential functions with or without reasonable accommodationQualifications:Valid driver's licenseAbility to pass a background check, including a driving record checkStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage physical job demandsEqual Opportunity Statement: This position is subject to applicable federal and Kansas employment laws.
